All you need to know about the Indian Missile arsenal

This article serves the purpose to showcase the Indian missile arsenal, With the short notes on each of their features including range, propulsion system, guidance system, Operational and inDev missiles.

Important terms

Ballistic Missiles- follows a ballistic trajectory to deliver one or more warheads on a predetermined target. guided during relatively brief periods of flight, most of their trajectory is unpowered, being governed by gravity and air resistance if in the atmosphere.

Cruise Missiles -A guided missile used against terrestrial targets that remain in the atmosphere and flies the major portion of its flight path at approximately constant speed.

supersonic Missiles- involving or denoting a speed greater than that of sound.
