• Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS) is an independent, indigenously developed satellite navigation system fully planned, established and controlled by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).

• NAVSTAR and GLONASS are two global GPS
• GAGAN GPS Aidied Geoaugmented Navigation Satelite Sysyem (Indian - radar communication)
• IRNSS or NAVigation with Indian Constellation (NAVIC) operation name.provides accurate real-time positioning and timing services
• Covers India + 1500Km away from Border

• The space segment consists of the IRNSS constellation of seven satellites.

Three satellites are in geostationary orbit and the remaining four are located in geosynchronous orbits.
