India's Spike Missile Deal with Israel || Everything You Need to Know

The deal of Spike missile was once cancelled in November 2017 due to the confliction formed by DRDO and Rafael Advanced Defend System as per the reports of experts. But now, an order of Spike anti tank missile has been placed again by India worth 500 million US$ (be close to 300 crore rupees). It is estimated that Indian Army ha placed an order of 240 such missiles. After the Pulwama incident of 14th Feb 2019 in which 40 CRPF personnel were killed, the armed forces were given powers to make emergency purchases.

What makes these missiles special?

These Israeli Missiles are just tremendous. They can perform different amazing actions such as it can fire, observe, update, fire and forget etc. These missiles have a very sharp edge design with an aerodynamic flow. These have the ability to pierce bunkers with a very high accuracy.
These missiles have a range of approximately 4 Km and can be drop in plains as well as in the high mountains.
These missiles can be very much precious for our country as the missiles are anti tank and can be deployed through jeeps, cars, helicopter, ships and also can be used along the LOC.
This is a self guiding missile and also has a lock-on ability to its prior launch. The glorious feature of anti-tank helps in bursting the highly armed vehicle of opposition from a far distance as aiming is a bit easy in this.
The launching process is also unique and doesn’t leave any effect after the launch. This missile also works as a protection guard for army men.

These missiles have also been used by the United Kingdom, Belgium, Australia, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Singapore, Portugal, South Korea, and Spain and are making their armies more powerful and are increasing their strength day by day.
